The Bell Tolls
March 16, 2024 — The Board and members of the John D. McKean Preservation Project honor the memory and family of FDNY Marine Engineer Denis J. Mulcahy who served aboard the John D. McKean for 15 years before his retirement from the FDNY. M.E. Mulcahy visited the McKean this past fall at the age of 83 with members of his family. We are so grateful to have visited with him and learned about his years aboard the JDM. Our prayers and condolences are with the entire Mulcahy family.
